If you live in, love, or have clients who live in small spaces, be sure to check out the article I wrote for Small Room Decorating magazine titled "Break Out of the Box."
I scouted that home over a year and a half ago and my article is about a lovely little bungalow in the beautiful seaside village of LaJolla, CA right near where I live. Homeowners Lisa and Michael Maher are masters at marrying small space function with artistic minimalist flair. This wonderful double issue has many gorgeous "real life homes" feature articles in it that are so beautifully done as well as some tips from some of the hottest HGTV stars--you won't want to miss it! You can find this great resource on sale now in bookstore, grocery, and drugstore chains across the country.
In the spirit of living well in small spaces, I also wrote "Small Space Savvy in a Big Stuff World" recently based on my many years in the 90's working as a hands-on professional organizer, plus I also have always personally chosen the "freedom of simplicity" lifestyle of living in small spaces.
